Sell the gold that has been sitting in a drawer.

We send you a padded mailer with a prepaid, insured FedEx label already inside. You send whatever you want valued. We open it on camera, weigh and test every piece, and put the whole breakdown in front of you before you decide anything.

No cost, no obligation, and we pay the return shipping if you say no.

Illustration only. Your offer depends on the weight, purity and metal of what you actually send, and on the metal price the day we quote you.

Every offer arrives with the video of us opening your package.

  • Insured both directions

The kit ships insured, the return label is insured, and if you decline we pay to send everything back.

  • Opened on camera

Every package is recorded from seal to scale. You get the video on your tracking page.

  • Offer in about a day

Most packages are weighed, tested and quoted within 24 hours of arriving.

  • Paid the day you accept

Accept before 3pm Eastern on a business day and the transfer goes out the same day.

The whole process

Three steps, about a week.

Most of the week is the post office. The part that involves us usually takes a day.

  1. 01

    Ask for a kit

Tell us roughly what you have. A person reads every request, usually the same day, and posts a padded mailer with a prepaid insured FedEx label already inside.

Nothing to print. Nothing to pay.

  2. 02

    Send your items

Put everything in, seal it, and hand it to any FedEx counter or drop box. You get a text the moment it scans, and again the moment it reaches our counter.

Insured from the second it is scanned.

  3. 03

    See the offer, decide

We open your package on camera, weigh each piece, test it, and put the whole breakdown on your tracking page with the video. Accept and the money goes out. Decline and everything comes back free.

No haggling. No pressure. No fee either way.

What we buy

Broken counts. Single earrings count.

Condition does not matter, because everything is valued on its metal content. A snapped chain is worth the same per gram as an unbroken one.

  • Chains

Broken counts. Same rate per gram.

  • Rings

    Stones deducted and returned.

  • Odd earrings

The lone survivor of a pair.

  • Sterling

Flatware is heavier than it looks.

  • Coins

    Pre-1965 US, 90 percent silver.

  • Bars

    Bullion and generic rounds.

  • Watch cases

    The case, not the movement.

  • Dental gold

Send it with the tooth attached.

An honest comparison

The three ways to sell, side by side.

A local shop pays you today and you can look them in the eye. That is worth something. Here is where the differences actually are.

In their words

The part people mention is not the money.

It is knowing what happened to their things. That is why we film every opening and publish every weight, including the ones that make the number smaller.

I sent a box of my mother's things expecting the runaround. They filmed the whole thing and the weights matched what I had written down.
Ellen R. · Warwick, Rhode Island
The offer was less than the melt number I found online, but they showed me exactly why, and it was still more than the two shops near me.
Marcus D. · Toledo, Ohio
Declined the offer, got everything back three days later, no charge, no argument. That is the only reason I called them again in March.

Today’s metal prices

Work out the metal content yourself.

Our calculators show what the pure metal in a piece is worth at today’s spot price. That is the number every buyer starts from, including us, and it is the only fair way to compare two offers.

Before you ask

The four we hear most.

Read all the questions

Nothing. The mailer is free, the postage out to you is paid, and the return label inside is prepaid and insured. There is no fee at any point, and no fee if you decide not to sell.

No. You see the full itemised offer before you agree to anything. If you decline, we pack everything exactly as it arrived and ship it back insured at our cost. There is no restocking fee and no return shipping charge.

We weigh each piece, deduct any stones or non-metal parts, and test the purity. That gives the actual precious metal content in grams. The offer is based on that content and the metal price on the day we quote you. Every one of those numbers is on your tracking page, so you can check the arithmetic.

Most people have money in their account within a week of asking for a kit. The kit takes two to three days to reach you, the return trip is FedEx 2Day, and we usually finish the evaluation within a day of the package landing.

Find out what it is actually worth.

The kit is free, the shipping is insured both ways, and there is nothing to sign until you have seen the offer.
