You agree to keep your information accurate and up to date. We may decline, suspend, or terminate access to our Services if we believe the information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, suspicious, or otherwise violates these Terms.

4. Shipping & Insurance
Packaging Responsibility
Customers are responsible for securely packaging all Goods before shipment. You must use packaging materials, labels, procedures, and instructions provided or approved by International Gold and Silver.
If you use packaging, shipping labels, carriers, or methods not provided or approved by us, you assume all responsibility for shipping costs, delivery issues, insurance limitations, loss, theft, damage, delays, fees, taxes, and claims.
Failure to follow our packaging instructions may result in the denial of insurance coverage or claim assistance.
Approved Shipping Method
To qualify for any shipment insurance or claim support, you must use the shipping label and shipping method provided or approved by International Gold and Silver. Any Goods shipped using an unapproved carrier, unapproved label, incorrect address, drop box, kiosk, locker, or unstaffed location may not qualify for insurance coverage.
Drop-Off Requirement
To qualify for insurance coverage, you must physically hand the package to an employee at an approved staffed carrier location and obtain a printed or electronic drop-off receipt showing that the package was accepted and scanned by the carrier.
Packages left in unstaffed drop boxes, roadside collection boxes, kiosks, lockers, mailrooms, porches, counters without scan confirmation, or other unattended areas may not be eligible for insurance coverage.
You must keep your drop-off receipt until the transaction is fully completed.
Photos and Shipment Qualification
Before shipping, customers may be required to provide clear photos or videos of the items being sent, including photos of the items next to the provided shipping envelope or packaging.
To qualify for insurance or claim support, customers may be required to:
Provide photos of all items before shipment.
Provide a written description of the items.
Provide estimated weights, purities, or values when known.
Obtain written approval from International Gold and Silver before shipping high-value Goods.
Follow all packaging and drop-off instructions.
Insurance Coverage
Insurance coverage, if available, applies only to eligible shipments that meet all requirements stated in these Terms and any instructions we provide. Coverage limits may vary based on the shipment, carrier, insurer, item description, documentation, and approval status.
Insurance does not guarantee payment of a claim. Claims may require documentation, investigation, carrier cooperation, proof of ownership, proof of value, police reports, affidavits, identity verification, or other information.
International Gold and Silver is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or delay caused by the carrier, customer packaging errors, incorrect addresses, unapproved shipping methods, lack of documentation, fraudulent claims, or failure to follow instructions.
Return Shipping
If you reject a Final Offer and request return of eligible Goods, we will arrange return shipment using the method we determine is appropriate. Once return shipping is processed, tracking information may be provided by email, text, or upon request.
5. Receipt, Opening, Inspection, and Testing of Goods
Receipt of Goods
Receipt by the carrier does not mean receipt by International Gold and Silver. Goods are considered received by us only when they are delivered to our facility and accepted into our processing system.
Video Recording
Parcels may be opened, inspected, weighed, sorted, tested, and processed under video surveillance. Video recording is used for security, documentation, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. We may retain or delete such recordings in accordance with our internal policies and applicable law.
Weighing
Goods are weighed using scales intended for commercial accuracy and compliance with applicable weights and measures requirements. Weight may be measured by total Lot, item, metal type, purity category, or any other method we determine is appropriate.
Testing and Assay Process
Goods may be tested for metal content, purity, authenticity, and value. Testing may include methods that scratch, mark, file, cut, acid test, or otherwise alter the item. By submitting Goods to us, you consent to testing and understand that minor or visible damage may occur.
International Gold and Silver is not liable for pre-existing damage, ordinary testing marks, damage caused by required testing, damage caused by packaging, or damage resulting from the nature or condition of the Goods.
Stones, Packaging, and Non-Metal Materials
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, non-precious materials such as stones, pearls, watch bands, boxes, packaging, plastic, leather, and accessories may not be included in valuation.
We do not guarantee the return of packaging materials, jewelry boxes, presentation containers, wrapping, bags, holders, or accessories sent with Goods.
Certain items may need to be removed from settings, casings, packaging, or other materials for evaluation. By submitting Goods, you authorize us to perform reasonable handling, separation, and testing.
Suspicious, Fraudulent, or No-Value Goods
If a Parcel or Goods appear suspicious, fraudulent, tampered with, counterfeit, stolen, misrepresented, unsafe, empty, or intended to defraud or harm International Gold and Silver, we may refuse to process the transaction, suspend payout, refuse return, retain evidence, report the matter to law enforcement, or take any action permitted by law.
Goods that have no value, fall outside our buying criteria, or are not as described may not be eligible for insurance, payout, or free return.
6. Pricing, Estimates, and Final Offers
Initial Estimates Are Not Binding
Any Initial Estimate provided before physical inspection is for informational purposes only. Initial Estimates may be based on photos, descriptions, stated weights, stated purities, market prices, or other information you provide.
Initial Estimates are not guaranteed and are not binding on International Gold and Silver.
Final Offer Calculation
Final Offers are based on our evaluation of the Goods actually received, including factors such as:
Metal type.
Weight.
Purity.
Authenticity.
Condition.
Market price.
Refining costs.
Handling and transaction costs.
Risk, fraud prevention, and compliance requirements.
Any applicable promotional offers.
A general pricing method may include:
Internal Spot Price × Verified Weight × Verified Purity Percentage – Transaction Costs
We are not obligated to use any particular published spot price, exchange price, market price, or third-party quote. Precious metal prices fluctuate, and our Final Offer may differ from estimates, advertisements, or competitor offers.
Final Offers Supersede Prior Communications
A Final Offer supersedes any prior estimate, discussion, advertisement, phone quote, text message, email, verbal statement, website estimate, or preliminary offer.
Offer Response Time
Unless otherwise stated, you must accept or reject a Final Offer within 48 hours after it is sent. If you do not respond within that period, we may adjust the offer due to market movement, hold the Goods, return the Goods, or take other action consistent with these Terms and applicable law.
If you do not accept, reject, or request return within ninety (90) days, the Goods may be treated as abandoned to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Non-Negotiable Offers
Final Offers are generally non-negotiable unless we choose, in our sole discretion, to review a competitor offer, apply a promotion, correct an error, or issue a revised offer.
7. Bonus Offers, Promotions, and Competitor Offers
Bonus Offers, coupons, referral bonuses, promotional codes, and competitor match offers are subject to eligibility requirements and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
A minimum transaction amount may be required to qualify for a Bonus Offer. Unless otherwise stated in writing, Bonus Offers cannot be combined.
To qualify for a competitor offer or best offer guarantee, if offered, you may be required to provide a written competitor offer showing item weight, purity, metal type, date, and total amount. Competitor offers must be current, verifiable, and comparable to our evaluation.
We reserve the right to reject competitor offers that are outdated, unverifiable, conditional, misleading, based on different weights or purities, or otherwise not comparable.
8. Returns
If you reject a Final Offer before payout, you may request the return of eligible Goods.
Once a Final Offer is accepted, payout is initiated, or payment is made, the transaction is final and the Goods become the property of International Gold and Silver. After acceptance, Goods cannot be returned for any reason, including regret, market price changes, mistaken assumptions, family disputes, or later claims that you no longer wish to sell.
Return Eligibility
Goods may not be eligible for return if they are:
Suspected of being stolen, fraudulent, counterfeit, or illegal.
Subject to a law enforcement request, hold, investigation, or legal claim.
No-value Goods or items outside our criteria.
Packaging, boxes, or accessories not included in valuation.
Abandoned under these Terms.
Otherwise restricted by law.
Return Insurance
Return shipments may be insured up to the amount of our Final Offer or another amount determined by us, subject to carrier and insurer limitations. Items evaluated at $0 or outside our buying criteria may not qualify for insurance.
Return Liability
Once a return Parcel is delivered to the carrier, risk of loss may pass to the customer to the fullest extent permitted by law. If a returned package is lost, stolen, damaged, or marked delivered but not received, the customer may be responsible for working with the carrier and law enforcement. We may reasonably cooperate with investigations but are not responsible for losses caused by the carrier or theft after delivery.
9. Payouts
Available payout methods may include check, ACH, wire transfer, PayPal, or other methods we approve. Payout methods are subject to change.
Payout timing depends on the payout method, bank processing, fraud prevention review, compliance review, weekends, holidays, and other factors. Some payouts may be completed quickly, while others may take up to 10 business days or longer.
You are responsible for providing accurate payout information. International Gold and Silver is not responsible for payments sent to incorrect accounts, incorrect names, incorrect addresses, closed accounts, third-party accounts, or incorrect information provided by you.
Third-party payment processors may charge fees. We are not responsible for third-party fees, processing delays, holds, reversals, or errors outside our control.
If we issue a payment greater than the agreed Final Offer, duplicate a payment, or make a payment error, you agree that we may recover the overpaid amount. You agree to cooperate with repayment or reversal of any mistaken payment.
All payments for accepted Goods are final and non-refundable.
10. Ownership, Identity Verification, and Stolen Goods

We may require government-issued identification, proof of address, proof of ownership, receipts, appraisals, affidavits, video verification, or other information before evaluating Goods, issuing an offer, making a payout, or returning Goods.
If we suspect Goods are stolen, counterfeit, fraudulent, or involved in illegal activity, we may place the transaction on hold, withhold payout, retain Goods, contact law enforcement, provide information to authorities, or take other action permitted by law.

12. Security and Privacy
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect customer information and submitted Goods. However, no website, communication method, shipping system, payment system, or storage method is completely secure.
